We will be taking nominations all year for women with cancer, critical illness or who have gotten out of domestic violence situations.
We understand that featuring survivors of domestic violence may be a tricky issue to tackle, but we feel that it’s important to spread awareness and hope. The women who are nominated for this category must be completely out of danger and away from the situation for a time and we must be able to verify this for the safety of the client as well as for the safety of the volunteers of Surviving Beautifully.
Every woman who receives a Surviving Beautifully photo shoot must be willing to have her story and her photos published online and in print.
For the time being, all nominees must be within driving distance of DFW. Our hope is to make this a national campaign in the future, but currently we can only serve those in DFW, Texas.
Confidentiality: Information gathered in this nomination form will remain confidential. It will not be used for any other purpose than to determine your eligibility and qualification for this program and for no other purpose.
All requested information is utilized to help us in determining safety & health considerations of survivors participating in photoshoots. As we can only provide a certain number of shoots per month, grouping survivors together with similar allergies or safety concerns into the same month or week will help us to plan and prepare to make this experience amazing for all who participate.
