I’m Margo and I’m a makeup artist and hairstylist. Although I love what I do now and get so much joy from making women feel beautiful, that is not where my path began. My career started in business where I earned an undergraduate and then master’s degree in accounting. About halfway through my education my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time in her life. During the process of running tests for treatment and surgery they discovered she had leukemia as well. It was in those following years my mother taught me what real bravery was.

With her encouragement and a new sense of how short life can be, I decided to pursue what I love and what makes me happy. I am so grateful for my mom’s support, to have such an amazing example of bravery to emulate, and of course the fact that my mom is breast cancer free and her leukemia is in remission. This is why when Amanda gave me the opportunity to work with her with Surviving Beautifully I couldn’t refuse. I am so excited to make every women who steps into the studio feel confident and beautiful.
